SATURDAY, October 23 was another winning day for Lapford AFC at home to Colyton.
That now means Lapford has a three-year unbeaten at home record.
During the Colyton match it was 0-0 at half-time but into the second half our lads scored on 49 minutes and 57 minutes.
The visitors got back into the game with two goals but our lads upped their game and scored again on 76 and 82 minutes followed by another in the 90th minute to claim the victory by 5-2.
Our final goal was a ground hopper from the right wing position, passing in front of their ‘keeper and so fast into the far corner.
Tomorrow, Saturday, October 30, is the Sportslighting Devon Premier Cup Third Round day, so it means down to Devonport for the match against Millbridge, who play in the Plymouth and West Devon League, kick-off 2pm at the Devonport High School for Boys on their 4G surface.
With Beer beating Dawlish 5-2, the top two league teams remain unchanged until Lapford play at Beer on November 6 at 2.15pm.
