SO just a few days left until 2021, hopefully a much improved year to rid of Covid-19, and completing the football season 20/21, and hopefully back to normal.
Some of my highlights of football in 2019/20 was the only team to win against the Cronies by 5-1, also in the East Devon Senior Cup, winning against Okehampton, Bampton and the best until last, against Lyme Regis at Axminster on the artificial surface, winning 5-1, for me the best match of the season.
This seasons, 2020/21, so far has been good for the First team and not too bad so far for the Reserves.
For January 2, the First team is away to Hatherleigh and the Reserves at home to North Tawton Reserves.
So Onwards and Upwards.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all “Crediton Courier” readers, friends, relations, but most of all to players, officials, supporters at the football club, and hopefully, if the weather and restrictions allow, at Hatherleigh on January 2 at 2.15pm.
Also just a reminder come December 31, 2020, it will be 60 years ago that National Service ended.
