SO the Devon and Exeter League is back to complete the Mini Leagues, although about 25 teams are out.

In Premier West Crediton Reserves and Exwick Villa Reserves are out and in Four West, Bow Reserves and Sandford Reserves are out.

So the best village teams are all up for it, so onwards and upwards I say.

Last Saturday the first team were at home to Elmore Reserves, thus winning by 4-1, sadly without any spectators because of Covid-19 rules.

The First fixtures for April are tomorrow, the 10th, away to Winchester, on the 17th home to Newtown Reserves, then away on the 24th to Chagford.

Four West fixtures for the Reserves are as follows: April 10, home to Bickleigh; April 17, away to Okehampton Thirds and then on Wednesday, April 21, home to Morchard Bishop at 6.30pm, followed on April 24 at home to Westexe Park Reserves.

I know now that the Reserves won away, beating Armory Green Reserves by 2-0.

Well done lads towards a winning Saturday.

I hope to visit Lapford on April 17, the last time was October 5. I look forward to catching up with family and friends.

Onwards and upwards and good luck.
