THE weather last Saturday, March 26, was dry with a little wind and the pitch was in very good condition for the visit to Lapford of Okehampton Reserves.
The result was another home win for Lapford AFC by 6-0, making this the 39th unbeaten match at home. It took the hosts 24 minutes to break the deadlock with two quick goals followed by the third before half-time.
After the break, goals were scored on the 60th and 72nd minutes, followed by the third in that half before the final whistle.
There is no match tomorrow, Saturday, April 2 but on Wednesday, April 6 at 7.30pm, Lapford are away to Crediton to play against the Reserves from Senior Division One (the leaders).
I believe Crediton FC is expecting a big turnout. Let’s see what happens. So, once again, onwards and upwards and good luck to all.
