Jess joined Crediton Youth back in 2015, when she became part of the Under 10’s girls side, that saw girls football return to the club, after an absence of a number of seasons, and has been an integral part of that very successful side.
She soon progressed to also play for the boys team at her age group, and has been an important part of that side as well.
After two seasons of being in the Devon FA girls representative side, Jess was chosen to attend an England Under 15’s girls trial, but missed out on selection to the national squad.
As well as playing for Crediton Youth, Jess also had four seasons at Exeter City girls.
Jess is also a qualified referee and regular helper at the clubs Wild Cat training sessions for junior girl players, and also assists with the Under 10’s girls training sessions.
She also hopes to become a level one football coach in the future.
Club Chairman Adrain Harvey said: “With the growth of girls football at Crediton it is great to see Jess become the first female recipient of the Eakers Cup, and it is an excellent reward for her commitment and dedication to the club.”
