ON Saturday, July 20, Crediton United AFC celebrate Dave Blanchford's 60 years of service at Crediton United when its entertains Exeter City Academy at its Lords Meadow ground.

Dave started his journey with the Blues in 1964 and has undertaken many roles at the club apart from Treasurer and Club Secretary.

The club will be open for sponsors at 1pm with a finger buffet being served at 1.30pm ready for kick off at 3pm.

Entrance into the game is by donation which will be split between the club and ELF Hospice.

There will be a draw.

Food and drink will be available with the club’s burgers, bacon rolls and pasties available, and of course the Devon sun will shine and everybody can cool off with a lovely ice cream.

All are invited to go along and make Dave and his wife Monica's day very special as it celebrates Dave's long service to our club.
