CREDITON Youth Football Club’s U15’s took on their local rivals Moors Youth at home in the County cup and came out on top 3-0.
Goals from Seb Roche, Zak Cheriet and Ashley Henderson with an absolute cracker saw them through to the next round.
The U14’s entertained league leaders Stoke Hill and lost out 5-2. George Strawson and Will Hopkins getting their goals.
Also at home were the U12’s who ran out 5-0 winners against Stoke Hill.
Radu Mototolea, Jacob Sweeney and Luke Beetlestone amongst their goal scorers.
It was great result for the U12 development side as they overcame Okehampton 5-3. Ben Turner, Jenson Langabeer and Nate Payne all on the scoresheet.
The U11’s narrowly lost out in a tight affair away at Twyford Spartans. Dexter Hughes and Noah Pugsley getting their goals.
It was four wins for the two U10’s sides away at Starcross and Teignmouth. Ben Whelan, Charlie Haward, Charley Hiscock, Freddie Rose, Harry Shepherd, Lennie Wilmott, Lennon Young and Olly Holt all on target.
It was another good result for the U18’s on Sunday away at Newtown. Harry Welsh with a hat-trick, Louis Garnsworthy and an own goal saw them finish up 5-1 winners.
The U14 girls lost out 2-1 away at Ottery St Mary.
At home the U12 Girls Blues put in a tremendous performance but lost out 3-1 against Exmouth Reds. Mia Radulescu getting their goal, with Emelia Dobin and Isabella Law taking the player of the match awards.
The U12 Youth girls were away at Exmouth United Youth. Goals from Freya Chesney, Merryn Eatherley and two from player of the match Izzy Seward saw them return with a 4-1 victory.
Also taking on Exmouth sides were the U10 girls who won two and lost two games.
It was smiles all round for the U8 girls as they had their first victory away at Twyford, and their coaches were so proud of their performances.
