IT was once again, another frustrating weekend for many Crediton Youth FC sides with many postponements.
The U12’s returned to action and travelled away to Seaton for their league cup quarter final.
Two goals from Joseph Charlesworth and another from Radu Mototolea saw them produce one of the shocks of the round as they knocked out Division One side Seaton Town 3-0.
The Development side travelled to Moors Youth but lost out 3-0.
It was another great result for the U13’s who progressed through to the Plate semi finals as they edged out Brixington United with a 1-0 victory. An Ellis Friend cross was diverted into the goal by an unfortunate defender to secure their place in the next round.
Sunday saw the U12 Youth girls travel to Torquay United Community Sports Yellows. It was always going to be a tight affair, and the home side eventually ran out 2-1 winners with Izzy Steward getting the Creddy goal.
The U8 girls travelled to Paignton to take on sides from Dawlish and Watcombe Wanderers. No wins, but the girls were pleased to get back playing again with Amelia Holland grabbing the Crediton goals.
