It was league action for the U12’s, away at West Exe Warriors. They lost out 5-2, with Charlie Williams and Oliver Brimilcombe getting the goals.
The U10’s hosted Okehampton and it was two wins and two defeats for them. Player of the day awards went to Ben Whedal, Henry Handy, Hugh Swain and Oscar Wilk.
It was another big day for girls football at Crediton Youth on Saturday, March 16 as the club fielded its youngest ever girls side.
All the U7 players had all progressed from the club’s successful Wild Cats group and travelled to Ilfracombe to take part in some small sided games against their North Devon counterparts. The players from both sides thoroughly enjoyed the morning.
Sunday, March 17, saw the U13 girls game survive away at Stoke Hill. Despite goals from Lexi Mullen and Gracie Clements they eventually lost out 3-2.
The astro came to the rescue for the U9 girls as their mini tournament went ahead at Lords Meadow with four visiting sides. Lots of great football played in a great spirit.
