DAVID Wonnacott took top spot in the mid-week stableford at Downes Crediton Golf Club, on Wednesday, May 31, with a score of 39 points.

The pair of Susan Bonner and Annet Coles claimed first place in the ladies greensomes competition, on Thursday, June 1, with a score of 43 points.

The pair of Ying Wong and Sue Bond scored 42 points to finish second.

Also on Thursday, Ian Gillard scored 21 points to win the nine-hole stableford.

Josh Pring stole the show on Saturday, June 3, in the June medal by shooting a nett 63 (seven under) to take the Division Three prize as well as this year’s June medal trophy.

In Division Two it was Kate Cornish who shot a nett 68 (two under) to take top spot and Duane Greenslade scored a nett 69 (one under) to claim the Division One prize.

Downes Crediton Golf Club had its first game in the Palairet trophy competition against Ilfracombe Golf Club at Portmore on Sunday, June 4. Unfortunately, after a hard fought game, the players of Crediton walked away with a three-and-a-half to a one-and-a-half loss to Ilfracombe.
