SANDFORD Cricket Club has been chosen to host two T20 games for Devon County Cricket Club.
Both games, between Devon County Cricket Club and Hertfordshire, will be played on Sunday, April 30.
Chris Theedom, on behalf of the club, said: "Over the years Sandford Cricket Club has been recognised by players, umpires and officials as having one of the best playing surfaces in the county and this is due recognition for everyone’s hard work.
"Set in the delightful grounds of Creedy Park, the ground is set naturally within the rolling hills of Mid Devon and with a clubhouse and facilities that are the envy of most clubs in the county.
"The start of play will be 11am with the second game starting at approximately 3pm.
"Entrance for spectators will be free but there will be a very small charge for cars.
"If you visit for a full day this is a great opportunity for cricket fans to see the best players in the county in two exciting T20 games. "Refreshments will be served throughout the day."
Mr Theedom expressed thanks to ATS Tyres, Euromaster, Crediton for its kind sponsorship of the game.
He added: "Sandford Cricket Club welcomes you all to the ground and to the 'Bill Matten Pavilion' and we hope that you enjoy the very best cricket that the county can provide."
