THIS Sunday, July 14, sees Sandford Cricket Club’s Community League Finals Day.

The first match between Graphic and Crediton Rugby Club kicks off proceedings at 11am, followed by Sandford Cricket Club’s Development XI v Crediton Milling at 1.15pm, and then Three Little Pigs v Sandford Football Club at 3.30pm.

The Final itself will be held at roughly 6pm, but if proceedings allow, this may be brought forward to 5.30pm so as not to interfere too much with the Final of the Euros on the television.

Three Little Pigs will be defending their title they won last year, and will be aiming to retain the Barrie Sparham OBE Memorial Trophy as a result of doing so.

Many thanks to Sue Sparham who donated the trophy to the Club when this competition was first set up back in 2012.

Her continuing support is much appreciated by Sandford Cricket Club and everyone who takes part.

As well as the bar being open of course, a barbecue run by local chef supreme, Chicken Dave Haslam, will also be one of the features on offer all day.

So if you fancy a good day out with lots of entertainment, particularly from the Pigs ensemble, please feel free to come and join us.
