I’M afraid to say that this week’s report from Sandford Cricket Club won’t take long as due to the incessant rain last Saturday all three of Sandford Cricket Club’s games in the Devon League were cancelled without a ball being bowled, as were all the other games in their respective divisions, writes Phil Matten.

Because of this, all teams gained eight points each.

This coming Saturday, July 27, the Firsts visit bottom of the league Plympton with a 12.30pm start.

The Seconds are home to high-flying Paignton Seconds with a 1pm start, and the Thirds are also at home to Seaton Seconds – also a 1pm start.
