ALL Crediton RFC senior sides start 2025 in very favourable positions in their respective leagues.

Although there is only one promotion spot in Regional 1 Tribute SW, the 1st XV still have a chance of taking it but it will require a mammoth effort plus help from other clubs in beating our rivals.

The Quins are five points clear with games in hand on teams below them. If they maintain their current form then promotion is a real possibility but teams below them still have a say in the outcome.

The season for the 3rd XV has been nothing short of remarkable having suffered only one defeat away at Bideford and they gained ample revenge for that two weeks ago. The two teams below the 3rds do have games in hand but we still have a small margin for error should they win those games.

The Ladies are in a competitive league and currently hold second place but with only eleven points separating the top six almost anything can happen but there is no reason why they cannot pip Launceston to top spot before the season ends.

On Saturday, January 4 the 1st XV host 4th placed Wadebridge and a win would put a bit of distance between us and them. The Quins travel to Newton Abbot and the form book suggests we should win but strange things do happen in rugby!

The 3rds make the short trip to Topsham and will certainly look to consolidate their place at the head of the table.
