CREDITON Netball League is back in action, the new season officially starting on September 5.
A total of 12 teams are gearing up for what promises to be an exciting and competitive season, with matches scheduled on Thursday evenings at Lords Meadow Leisure Centre.
This year, the League is delighted to have three new teams joining it.
These include some new and familiar faces making up the Winkleigh Warriors, plus two teams from Queens Netball Club. As a result, the decision has been made to create two divisions making the league even more exciting.
A new committee was elected at the AGM, Claire Theedom taking the role of Chair and Sarah Clark the Secretary.
The league has taken a big step this year, thanks to returning Treasurer, Claire Carpenter, who has secured funding to support umpire training and gain equipment for each team.
The remaining committee members range from weather safety officers and safeguarding roles, to social media and fixture organisation.
