NOW that the first part of the 24/25 Crediton and District Netball winter league is coming to end it, it is time for a pre-Christmas wrap up.

The first half of the season came to an early end with the last matches of 2024 unfortunately being cancelled due to the weather and playing surfaces.

Hopefully this will be resolved and more netball can be played in the New Year.

In Division One, Foxes are currently top of the league, however Waie Inn have a match in hand to reclaim their deserving title.

Game by game, the rest of the division is mixing up the league table, showing it will be an exciting end to the season for unpredictable results.

In Division Two there have been massive improvements coming from all new teams, including Queens Black and Golds, while Winkleigh Wildcats have shown they are a force to be reckoned with as they close out the first half of the season undefeated.

It remains to be seen whether the Division Two teams can rise to the challenge of defeating the Wildcats.

We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy new year and can’t wait to get back out the courts.
