ON Wednesday, July 18, Okehampton Squash Club organised an Open Handicap squash competition within the OCRA Festival of Sport and Fitness, where a good number of players took part.

There were some very high levels of squash played in extreme heat which resulted in some long and arduous games.

Chris Elphick was the overall winner managing to beat Dominic Middleton in the final and Dave Harwood overpowered Sue Stanbury in the final of the plate.

Thanks went to OCRA for donating the trophies and arranging a fabulous fortnight of sport.
