THE afternoon of Saturday, June 15 saw Crediton Youth FC hold its annual presentation event at Lords Meadow.
As usual the presentation was split into three sections for the juniors, seniors and girls' sides.
Club Chairman Adrian Harvey welcomed everyone to each presentation and gave a brief run-down of the previous season.
Once again it had been a very successful season for the club with many of the club sides having great successes. The club was now providing regular football for over 300 local boys and girls.
The ongoing pitch improvement project was paying great dividends with the pitches looking at their best. With the start of the pitch side development project getting ever closer it is an exciting time for the club. The annual six-a-side tournament had once again been a great success.
Adrian thanked all the committee, grounds team and coaches for all their hard work during the season, and all the players and parents for their support.
Every player received a participation medal for the season and individual awards were awarded by the older age groups.
Jess Sandland from Exeter City Women’s presented the awards to the girls’ section. The club had once again been pleased to sponsor two local players, Jess and Harry Kite.
