SATURDAY, February 11 saw another busy morning for Crediton Youth FC down at Lords Meadow.

It had been a while since both the U13s and 14s were fortunate enough to have a home fixture.

The U14s came out 7-2 winners against Exeter Panthers.

Two goals each for Hayden Leach and Rhys Ebdy, with Ben Fantham, Charlie Turney and Dan Burgess also getting on the score sheet.

It was a tight affair for the U13s up against Heavitree Pumas, but Ashley Henderson with the only goal of the game, saw them pick up all three points.

The U12s overcame their bogie side Culm Valley for the first time. George Strawson and Luis Matthews getting their goals.

Also at home were the U8s with games against Copplestone and Okehampton.

It was two wins and two draws for them. Player of the day awards went to Nathaniel Jones and Ollie Johnston.

The U10s were away at Cranbrook Youth. They were really pleased to come away with three victories and a draw.

It was cup action for the U14 girls on Sunday, as they made their way through to the next round of the cup with a 4-0 victory over Moors Youth. Ruby Turner led the goal scoring with two, with Amy Lockyer and Chloe Curtis also on target for the home side.

The U18s had to make the long journey to Ilfracombe Town. Despite being in the game at half-time, they eventually fell away to a 5-1 defeat.

Kieran Crump scored the Crediton goal.
