POLICE are appealing for witnesses of a crash that left a young man in hospital with life-changing injuries.
The two-car collision involved an Audi and a Scania and took place on an unnamed road in Langford near Cullompton on Friday, July 26.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 12.30pm. Devon and Cornwall Police, the South Western Ambulance Service, Devon Air Ambulance and Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service all attended.
“As a result of the incident, a 25-year-old man was conveyed to hospital with life-changing injuries,” a Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said.
“The road was closed for around five hours to allow for a forensic examination of the scene and recovery of the vehicles.”
Officers are appealing for any witnesses of the incident to come forward.
