BETWEEN them, pupils of Yeoford School raised £508 through a Readathon.
They had read lots of books and had photos taken of them reading in an unusual, inspiring or exciting place.
Twelve photos were submitted for this, judged by Sue Read of the “Crediton Courier”.
Freya’s was the winner with her reading on top of a tall cabinet which Sue felt would have been challenging to get to the top.
Twenty-one children took part in the Readathon. With £80, Louis Mitchell won the prize for the most money raised. George took the prize for the highest number of books read.
Yeoford PTFA thanked all those who had taken part. Each winner - Freya, George and Louis - received a £10 voucher from The Bookery in Crediton.
