A WOMAN was left trapped in her car after it left the A377 and ended up in a field just past Ladds outside Crediton on Sunday evening, April 21. 

She was freed by the fire service and was uninjured. 

Emergency services were called to the scene at Downes Mill at 6.45pm. 

Only one car, a silver VW hatchback, was involved in the crash.
