Emergency services were called to help a woman who had fallen and injured herself on Tuesday April 29.
The call went up around lunchtime and the Maritime and Coastguard Agency asked Prawle Point Coastguard Rescue Team to assist the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust.
The woman got into trouble on the coast path between Gara Rock and Mill Bay.
The team found the casualty and she was taken by stretcher to be handed over to a waiting ambulance.
People are being reminded that if they see anyone in difficulty on or near the tidal coast or estuary should dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
