A WINTER Fair held in Coldridge Village Hall and St Matthew’s Church has been hailed a resounding success after it raised more than £600 for the charity, ELF, Exeter Leukaemia Fund.

Held on Saturday, November 23, there were many local small makers and traders offering a selection of gifts.

This included books, woodwork, art, home-made chutneys, jewellery, knitting and much more.

Refreshments included bacon rolls and much more and there was also a prize raffle.

Vikki Ridge said: “I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who supported the Coldridge Winter Fair.

“We raised an amazing £600 for ELF. It was such a great success and using the hall and church worked perfectly.

“Thank you all again.”

Many of those who went along said it was very well organised and they thoroughly enjoyed going along for some lovely items.
