THE latest Crediton Repair Cafe was held on Saturday, September 28.

Organised by Sustainable Crediton, it took place at Elephant on the Green in the town from 10am to 12pm.

Volunteers were on hand to repair a variety of items.

Ian Barnard tried fixing a film projector that was around 70 to 80 years old, while Jo Muncaster used her sewing skills on a soft toy of a koala.
Rob Byrnes had a go at repairing a defective DVD player, and Steve Jones helped somebody put a bicycle seat together.
A donation per item fixed was requested.
The first Crediton Repair Cafe was held in 2018. The initiative is part of an international movement to repair household items which would otherwise be disposed of.
Volunteers are invited to help at the regular events.
