A FIRE destroyed a vehicle in Hatherleigh on Monday evening, August 12.
Firefighters from the town north of Okehampton were called to the scene just before 7.30pm.
When they arrived, they found the vehicle “well alight”. They used two breathing apparatus, one compressed air foam jet and small tools to extinguish the blaze.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
