BOXING Day rugby at Crediton Rugby Club is always fun to watch.

On this occasion it was Battle of the Builders and saw Toby's Tinsel Titans take on Bobby's Blood, Sweat and Beers.

The game got off to a good start, Shane Bayley the referee for the first half.

Results were soon on the scoreboard and kept coming at regular intervals.

At half time it was Toby's crack squad which was leading 32-5.

It was muddy on the Blagdon Ground pitch but play was fast and there were plenty of humorous moments.

As the second half proceeded, with Lucy Smith referee, the foggy weather proceeded to get worse but it did not stop there being some fine rugby played.

The watching crowd had increased for the second half following the early 12 noon kick-off.

In the end, revenge was sweet for Toby's Tinsel Titans who beat Bobby's Blood, Sweat and Beers 54-34.

It was a great effort from all involved.
