SIXTEEN members of the Third Crediton Brownies went on their first two-day pack holiday to Dawlish Warren recently.

The Brownies, aged between eight and 10, spent the first night exploring their new home, and enjoying an evening of craft and films - including the obligatory popcorn!

On the Saturday, they were treated to a train ride to Dawlish, followed by an exciting treasure hunt around the town, taking in the beautiful sights and sounds, including the famous Black Swans.

The weekend came to a close on Sunday lunchtime, with a small party for the Brownies and parents to celebrate the end of the first, very successful, Pack Holiday.

Third Crediton Brownies are already looking forward to next year’s fun, with the leaders beginning the planning soon!

A big thank you goes to the leaders that accompanied the Brownies (and gave up their sleep!) to make the weekend such a triumph.
