DEVON and Cornwall Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information in connection with a report of theft of a flail topper from the Whiddon Down area.

The flail topper was stolen from an outbuilding sometime between December 9 and 16.

The police ask for farmers and members of the public to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity.

They say please telephone 999 if you believe a crime is taking place and make a note of vehicle details and descriptions.

Please review security and consider the use of locks, security lighting/CCTV, securing gates and block unused entrances.
