THE Saint Boniface Concert Society is delighted to welcome the Tuffnell Trio to play in Crediton Parish Church on Sunday, July 28 at 3pm.
The Tuffnell Trio’s repertoire stretches through the rich Renaissance era to the Baroque, so this promises to be a very engaging concert. All are welcome.
The trio, formed at the Royal Academy of Music in 2021, consists of Yaoré Talibart (violin), Thomas Kettle (viola), and Nathan Giorgetti (cello and viola da gamba).
These young musicians were winners of the 2022 Nancy Nuttall Prize at the Royal Academy, and were finalists in the London International Festival of Early Music Young Ensemble Competition.
In addition to their London recitals, the Tuffnell Trio have played at the Hastings Early Music Festival, and were selected for the Brighton Early Music Festival Live! in 2022/23.
On this occasion the violinist Oliver Cave will be playing with the trio.
Afternoon tea will be on offer during the interval.
The church provides disabled access and free parking.
The Saint Boniface Concert Society, a local charity dedicated to bringing top-flight musicians to play in Crediton, gratefully acknowledges support from “Making Music” and from Crediton Town Council.
