FRIDAY Focus is held on the first Friday of the month in Crediton Methodist Church.

As our June meeting coincided with The Queen’s Jubilee we had a fun and celebratory afternoon.

A “royal” quiz provided much brain searching and entertainment as we tried to guess how many times The Queen had sat for her portrait to be painted (more than 130!) and recall the names of all her great grandchildren, amongst other questions.

We also reflected on references to The Queen’s Christian faith as mentioned in many of her Christmas broadcasts.  We then shared memorabilia before enjoying a delicious afternoon tea with items supplied via the Community Champions at Crediton Tesco and Crediton Morrisons.
