CREDITON Library is very grateful to the Crediton Courier, and we’d like to send our congratulations on reaching the 1,300th issue!

Crediton Courier staff have always been so supportive of Crediton Library.

They have covered a wide range of our events, sending photographers and journalists to library events and always friendly and enthusiastic about all that we do.

When children complete the "Book Track" scheme and want to celebrate that they have read 100 books, Crediton Courier staff will come and take a photograph of the child as well as interview them about their reading interests.

The children become celebrities for a day - what a wonderful opportunity this gives them!

They have also attended some of our regular Summer Reading Challenge events over the summer and our regular Harry Potter Book Night.

Crediton Courier staff have also attended numerous adult events including our first Literary Festival in 2018, as well as a range of the Friends of Crediton Library events.

When they haven’t attended events in person, they have been very happy to publish reports and photographs of events we have emailed in.

Communication to the community about all that we do as an organisation couldn’t have happened so effectively without the Crediton Courier.

They’ve published what we’ve been doing during lockdown and how we’ve been able to help the public - and they will play a vital role in making the community aware of our phased return as we re-open.

Thank you Crediton Courier for all that you do!
