PEOPLE can now tell police about issues in the Crediton area in a new survey.
Devon and Cornwall Police has launched the fact-finding exercise to ask the public about crime they want to see tackled in their area, such as anti-social behaviour, farming equipment thefts, drug-taking and more.
The force also wants to know whether people would like to see more officers on patrol, and how safe they feel.
The survey is going to stay in place indefinitely as a permanent way to poll communities in the two counties.
“We want to better understand what’s great and what’s not so great about where people live so we can work with residents to tackle any worries and issues,” said Inspector Steve Philp.
“Your opinions will influence the community engagement and delivery of services within your area.
“A recent report from His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary Fire and Rescue Services (HMICFRS) positively highlighted our approach to neighbourhood policing but we know we can do more to serve our communities.
“This is an opportunity to share your views, and I want to encourage as many people as possible to fill out the survey.”
The survey was produced by Devon and Cornwall Police’s prevention department.
