THE Summer Reading Challenge is underway at Crediton Library with plenty of time still left to take part.
Children have all summer until September 14 to read six books, collect stickers and earn a medal and certificate.
Youngsters who complete the challenge will also be entered into a prize draw.
The theme this year is “Marvellous Makers”.
“There will be loads of opportunities to get creative as we have an event planned for each week of the holiday,” a Crediton Library spokesperson said.
“We've been getting lots of lovely new children's books for our shelves in Crediton recently.
“So, if you want to read books for the Summer Reading Challenge that nobody else has read yet, come in quick and have a look at the titles on our display... before they all go!”
The Summer Reading Challenge, which began on July 6, is run by the The Reading Agency, with illustrations by Natelle Quek.
