A SURPRISE party was held in the Lakeway United Church to say a massive “Thank You” to Nigel and Rosemary Davies from North Tawton Post Office for their 16 years of service to the community.

The couple have sold North Tawton Post Office, which includes outreach Post Offices at Belstone, Lapford, Spreyton and Sticklepath.

Many people attended the lunchtime party and following lunch Nigel and Rosemary were presented with a caricature drawing of themselves and the Post Office.

There was also a special celebration “thank you” cake in the shape of a pillar box.
