EXETER City Community Trust is offering summer holiday club sessions for youngsters in Crediton.
They will take place between 9.30am and 3.30pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays over five weeks at Crediton United FC.
Starting on Wednesday, July 31 and ending on Thursday, August 29, the sessions are suitable for children aged five to 14.
Timings for each session are as follows. From 9.30am to 10am there will be an introduction and warm-up, followed by themed training sessions until 11am, then competitions or small-sided games from 11.15am to 1pm, a tournament from 1.45pm and a presentation at 3.15pm.
“Our summer holiday club sessions are now on sale, with fun football activities taking place at four venues across the county,” a spokesperson said.
“We have five weeks of fun at Crediton United FC.
“The main focus is fun and participation through skill development and games including competitions and tournaments, with lots of prizes to be won.”
Players should wear suitable clothing and correct footwear for a grass pitch and take with them a packed lunch and plenty of fluids.
There will be a coach-to-child ratio of 1:15. All Exeter City Community Trust coaching staff have a current CRB/ DBS certificate, a level one or level two qualification (or are working towards them), all equipment for the session and a contactable mobile phone number.
Scouts from Exeter City Football Club Academy have attended holiday clubs in the past looking for exceptional local talent.
