FOR the first time, Spreyton village and school joined together for an afternoon of fun for fundraising.
Spreyton Summer Festival was held in the Village Hall and field on an extremely breezy day that made balancing for the pillow fight on a pole even harder, but it stayed dry.
There was the bouncy castle assault course, dog show, sports and games, face painting, book stall, cakes, even a large size crossword at 50p a clue and more.
In the dog show, Misty, a Beagle, won best in show, with a German Shepherd as runner-up.
The dog show was run by Carolyn Bissett of A Dogzlife Dog Day Care based at Okehampton.
