CREDITON Town Band’s Annual Dinner was held at Downes Crediton Golf Club on Friday, March 13, before the coronavirus situation took hold.

A total of 44 members and friends attended and enjoyed a splendid meal.

The guest and main speaker was Mr Titch Scott, celebrated Dartmoor personality.

Titch informed the audience of his early years of growing up on Dartmoor to the present day and gave several anecdotes of life on Dartmoor.

During the evening a presentation was made by Band chairperson Mrs Jenna Green to Mrs Gill Sutton, who recently retired after nine years as Band Secretary.

Jenna thanked Gill for all her hard work and effort including supplying cakes and tastings over a long period of time.

The Band is always looking to welcome new members of all ages.
