A NUMBER of people have been sledging in usual steep areas of the town and neighbouring fields this morning after heavy snowfall.
Many families and individuals enjoyed themselves sliding down the hills.

In addition, one sledge was used by a family to collect their shopping from the Crediton shops which have been able to open.
It was an unusual sight to see a sledge being pulled across the town square laded with items.
Some people also enjoyed building snowmen.
A great one was built in Newcombes Meadow and there were two side-by-side in Westernlea.

Many a snowball was thrown as well, young people enjoying the fun.
