SHAUN Lee, managing director of Smarter Accounting, has announced that the company is to open up a new office at 86, High Street, Crediton. It will be the company's second office and follows the first at Heathfield, Newton Abbot.

Shaun was born in Crediton and sees the office as an obvious next step for his business.

He said: "Opening an office in Crediton is like a dream come true. Those who know me will know that I still retain close family, friendship and golfing links in the town and it is a place where I feel very comfortable and at home.

"Smarter Accounting has developed as a brand and a new office is a natural step and what better place than the town I was brought up in? I know the area and many of the people and I look forward to working with many people and businesses from the Crediton locality."

He also states that Smarter Accounting has something new to offer. "We are not your normal accounting firm," he said. "Someone we worked with recently described us as 'a young, vibrant, and enthusiastic alternative to the more traditional firms of accountants,' I like that description. I think it sums us up nicely.

"Okay we will do your accounts and tax return, but where we really differ from other accountants is that we will add so much more. We will make it simple.

"We will be approachable and friendly. We will guarantee timescales, make sure there are no fee surprises and we will provide free book-keeping software.

"We have listened to our clients and what they want and think that we have the right attitude to service and standards and that makes us so refreshing."
