LAPFORD Primary School had a superb turn out from the local community for its Royal Wedding High Tea party which was held on Friday, May 18, in the school hall.

Bunting was hung, tables were decorated with lace and flowers, heart sequins adorned the surfaces and everyone in attendance wore their Sunday best for the event.

Everyone had a cream tea and enjoyed time with their family and friends.

Pupils had helped by baking scones, donating cakes for the cake sale, making bunting or by decorating plates.

Funds raised from this event go towards Lapford Primary School school grounds development project.

Mrs Clare Wilmott, Head of School, said: “It was a wonderful afternoon enjoyed by all. Thank you to all who came to celebrate with us.”
