ROAD signs at the bottom of Jockey Hill in Crediton indicating that the road ahead is closed are causing confusion for motorists as there is no indication of where the road is closed.
The road closure is the other side of Kennerleigh from Ash Lane to Pidsley Cross (LN0572 399396) to allow works to be carried out by National Grid Electricity Distribution (South West).
The works involve eight metre trenching in the tarmac road for under grounding cables.
It is estimated that the works will be completed by Wednesday, June 28.
