A RE-ARRANGED date for Spreyton Fayre this year proved a big success, a breezy but good, sunny day brought lots of people to the Recreation Field and Village Hall on Saturday, July 20, in aid of Spreyton Parish Church and the village school.
There were stalls, the book stall proving very popular, games, good music and really excellent teas with plenty of space to wander and places to sit and enjoy the day.
In the hall was an exhibition of work by members of Spreyton Art Group.
The members meet every Wednesday with tutor Kari McGowan. They come from as far at Chudleigh, North Tawton and Cheriton Bishop as well as more locally.
The Fayre was to have been held in June, but the weather forecast was diabolical and so the event was postponed.
