MR and Mrs Peter and Maureen Keeble of The Willows, Cheriton Fitzpaine, and Mr and Mrs David and Mary Nunn of The Nunns House, held Open Gardens in aid of the St John Eye Hospital appeal for Gaza.

The event raised more than £500 which will go towards helping the outreach vehicles supplying eye care in war-torn Gaza.

Several ladies contributed scones and magnificent cakes to supply cream teas.

Despite windy weather, visitors were able to see both gardens.
