Take a peek at the plans for these eco-friendly Crediton homes for sale that you could move into this time next year.
The collection of five homes is in the hamlet of Newbuildings near Crediton, and has been specifically designed by developer Bower Eco Homes to be environmentally friendly.

Lloyd Colin, Head of New Homes South West at Strutt & Parker, who are marketing the homes, explained the houses’ eco-friendly aspects: “These homes really have nature at their core.
“Set in 13 acres within the Devon countryside, the five houses are both stylish and environmentally-friendly, thanks to the building materials used and the energy efficiency tech in each home.

“Alongside solar panels, each house has an electric car charging point – a feature we’re seeing increasingly sought-after by buyers. In fact, a recent survey by Strutt & Parker found that one out of two people say it’s important that their new home has the facilities to charge an electric vehicle, so it’s no surprise we’re seeing buyers ask for them more frequently.”
The building materials of the homes include sustainable timber, triple glazed windows and VOC (volatile organic compound) free paints.

There are also energy efficient heat pumps for underfloor heating.
Inside, the homes boast plenty of space, with two reception rooms, a dining room, an office, two kitchen areas, four bedrooms, a walk-in wardrobe, three bathrooms and a garage.

Each home has a private garden, access to seven acres of woodland and a natural swimming pond.
Lloyd added: “Alongside the houses’ timber designs, their location is really what gives them the wow factor.
“There’s seven acres of woodland, open grasslands, orchards with fruit trees and even a swimming pond.
“All of this creates a wildlife haven which is incredibly peaceful – yet the hamlet is less than half an hour by car to Exeter and close to all the conveniences of Crediton.Only two of the five homes are still available.”
The homes are set to be completed in June 2023 and cost £975,000.
