PRE-School children and accompanying adults enjoyed storytime and craft activities during the Crafty Tales group at Crediton Library on Monday, April 24.
The children had fun listening to two stories, “I want two Birthdays” by Tony Ross and “Prince Cinders” by Dame Babette Cole, both read by Mary Moore, organiser of Crafty Tales. The children then took part in a colouring activity and made Coronation crowns.
Library supervisor, Sue Lee said: “We’d like to thank the Duke of Edinburgh volunteers for cutting our the crown shapes and the jewel shapes for the children.
“We run under five’s activities at the library every Monday during term-time at 11am, alternating between Crafty Tales and Stories and Rhymes.”
The drop in sessions are free but donations are welcomed.
