POLICE are appealing for the public’s help to identify a man in connection with a sexual assault in Exeter.

A woman was walking on Queen Street in the city when she was approached from behind by a man who then inappropriately touched her.

The incident took place on May 29, police said.

Investigating officers have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to identify as he may be able to assist with their enquiries.
