A 10-YEAR-OLD boy has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car in Exeter.
The collision, involving a black Ford Mondeo driven by a local male, took place at around 6.30pm on Friday, July 19 on Bowhay Lane in the St Thomas area.
The boy was taken first to Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital and then to Bristol Children’s Hospital where he is currently being treated.
The driver of the Mondeo and his front seat passenger were not injured.
