THE Rotary Club of Crediton Boniface welcomed Pam Atkinson as a new member at its meeting on Tuesday, March 12.

Pam was introduced by Rotarian Paul Fallon.

He said he had met Pam through their connection with the Royal British Legion, in fact Pam was a regular in the RAF but retired after 22 years of service.

She had a year out and then rejoined as a full-time Reservist, she is finally retiring after 46 years in July this year.

The Objects of Rotary were then read to Pam and this was followed by the formal induction by Rotary President Garry Adams.

He then presented her with a welcome pack and her Rotary badge.

Rotary Members were all then delighted to stand up and toast their newest member.
