FUN, laughter, music and good food are what family and friends getting together is about, especially when celebrating the life of someone who died far too early.

This was the second Padz Fest, held in honour of Patrick Rice who died in an accident at work in May, 2021. 

This Padz Fest was held at the Waie Inn, Zeal Monachorum on the last day of April with three bands playing through the afternoon and evening.

These were the Dartmoor Pixie Band in which one of Patrick’s two brothers plays, Red Dirt and Rock Steady, all Devon bands.

There was also Rob Friction dj, all music that Patrick might have called “absolute bangers” and which he loved.  There was a raffle and a buffet.  

Two books were on a table where people could write memories and anecdotes about Patrick.
